About Me

With a rich mix of experience in Human Resources, including 15 years as a Strategic HRBP, I am deeply passionate about creating thriving organizations, while leveraging my expertise in Systems Thinking, Complexity Theory and Organization Design. My professional journey has equipped me to offer insightful consulting services, ranging from diagnostics and creating organizational alignment to leading and coaching organization design projects and supporting transformation initiatives. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of collaborating with C-Suite leaders in Fortune 100 companies within the healthcare industry. My professional journey began with Bristol-Myers Squibb, progressed through Novo Nordisk, and culminated at Cigna, before I decided to venture out on my own. I am an active member of the Organization Design Forum and a Certified Organization Design Professional. I hold an M.A. in Organizational Psychology from Teacher’s College, Columbia University.

Outside the professional realm, I am a lifelong Seeker, always eager to learn and explore new horizons. My curiosity has led me on many exciting adventures, including earning a Black Belt in karate, completing 600 hours of Yoga Teacher Training, delving into mindfulness, learning to paint and, most recently, becoming a Somatic Coach. Currently, my embodied practices of choice include Qi Gong and 5 Rhythms, a dynamic movement practice that allows me to sweat my prayers with the vibrant Philadelphia community.

My path to becoming a Transformational Coach has been a natural evolution, originating in my decades of coaching senior leaders in a Corporate environment, as well as my journey through various embodied practices, meditation, breathwork, and personal trauma work. I first fell in love with embodied practices 20 years ago, beginning with Iyengar Yoga and then Yin Yoga, in which I am certified to teach. What captivates me about incorporating embodiment into my coaching practice is its ability to deliver profound results through transformative coaching methods, blending ancient wisdom traditions, psychology, and contemporary neuroscience. I am currently finishing up my certification as a Somatic Coach through the Strozzi Institute for Somatics and expect to be ICF certified at the ACC level by the end of the year.

FUN FACT:

Born and raised in Denmark, I consider myself an ‘accidental immigrant’ to the US, where I’ve spent my entire adult life. Staying true to my Danish roots, I must live near water and love to go ‘down the Shore’, as they say here in New Jersey where I live. I am a proud single mother of three amazing young adults who keep me on my toes and regularly empty my wallet!
